Dr. Hopkins is a native Texan having graduated from the University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch. After a kind dentist took him out of pain at the age of 8, he knew he wanted help people in that way. Dr. Hopkins has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses to learn the latest techniques in dentistry. He also has extensive experience in root canal therapy, extractions, dentures, crowns, composite fillings and orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the Academy and also served as President of the Utah Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Hopkins and his wife Kathy have a large family and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. He has practiced in Texas and Utah, loves Alaska, and hopes to spend his remaining years here.
