Dr. Veena Ammal is a skilled, caring dentist with exceptional skills in general cosmetic dentistry. She has been graciously serving patients in and around the greater Memphis area since 2002. After working at another Memphis-area dental office, Dr. Ammal opened SmileAway Family Dentistry in Cordova in 2012. The all-new, state-of-the-art dental clinic, is conveniently located in the Trinity Commons Shopping Center, 694 North Germantown Parkway. Dr. Ammal is a graduate of the prestigious New York University Dental School, consistently ranked one of the top dental schools in the country. After graduation, she continued to build her knowledge on all dental specialties, including pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery. Professionally, Dr. Ammal is a member of the American Dental Association, the Memphis Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association and the New York University Dental Society. Dr. Ammal is also an active and caring member of the Memphis community; she volunteers her time and services for free dental camps at the Memphis chapter of the MIFA (Metropolitan Inter-faith Association).
