The Soffer Dental Office has been creating and maintaining beautiful smiles for the south Jersey Philadelphia community, in the same location, for over 50 years. Started by Dr. Benjamin Soffer in 1954, Dr. James Soffer joined his father in 1975, after graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Jim has served on the faculty of the Virtua Hospital Dental Residency Program for the past 26 years, where he met Dr. Carol Szargowicz, an outstanding dental resident at the time. Upon Dr. Bens retirement in 1987, Dr. Carol, a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry, joined Dr. Jim. Together, with an outstanding and caring staff, Dr. Jim and Dr. Carol have been providing the highest quality, state-of-the-art dentistry to 3 generations, in our friendly, comforting and relaxing environment.We have been recognized by South Jersey Magazine, and Consumers Checkbook as one of the Top Dental Practices in South Jersey. Dr. Soffer and Dr. Szargowicz are both members of the American Dental Association and Southern Dental society, of which Dr. Soffer is a Past President.
