He has been certified and chosen as a clinical instructor to train other dentists in the advanced technology. His expertise in the system has allowed a revolutionary change in the quality and speed of care that he is able to provide for his patients. He has also taken advanced training on the use of 3D digital Cone Beam Computed Tomography. This scanner provides digital 3-dimensional views of structures in the jaw. The 3D visualization allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning in all aspects of dental care. The imaging is especially useful in precise implant planning and placement, and therefore better clinical results. He is passionate about restoring his patients oral health to a functional and aesthetically beautiful condition utilizing these technologies.Scott grew up in Willmar where he enjoyed playing hockey, golf and spending lots of time at his grandfathers lake cabin. Scott graduated from Willmar High School, and earned a Bachelors degree from St. Johns University in Collegeville, MN before graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is married with two young children who help keep him young and also very busy. Scott is happy to be back in his hometown practicing dentistry and serving his community. He loves to travel, cook, play golf and hockey, and spend time with his family at the lake.
