The Dental Hygiene program at Quinsigamond Community College is a long-established and highly regarded program. Simulated practice utilizing a state-of-the-art dental hygiene clinic provides students with a rare opportunity. In this environment, students are able to visualize more of a real healthcare environment and improve their resilience when dealing with real-world problems. At the same time, the clinic provides affordable dental hygiene services to the Worcester community, realizing a positive interaction between teaching and practice.
Taking the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE) upon completion of the program and obtaining licensure is an important way to test the student's learning outcomes. It also provides students with a strong foundation for their future careers, enabling them to practice dental hygiene in Massachusetts and most other states.
