Dr. Vincent Hathaway, originally from St. Louis Missouri, is a general dentist who has practiced in multiple states including Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Texas. Dr. Hathaway began his professional career as a Teacher Assistant for the St. Louis Science Center and Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club of America as a mentor and tutor for children. In 2004 he interned for the Genetic Department at Washington University School of Medicine conducting research pertaining to Genetic Mapping while also employed as a Laboratory Assistant at Grambling State University. He received his undergraduate education in 2005 at Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After completing his Bachelors, Dr. Hathaway ventured into education and worked as a Second grade teacher while advancing towards his Masters of Science degree that he attained from Howard University in 2012. Immediately after graduation Dr. Hathaway recognized his passion for dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in 2016. He furthered his knowledge of dentistry by completing his GPR residency at Harlem Hospital in 2017. Dr. Hathaway prides himself on meeting his patients on a personal level while thoroughly discussing and treating their dental concerns, he is dedicated to educating his patients on maintaining proper oral health. His Professional Affiliations include the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, Student National Dental Association and the American Student Dental Association.
