Dr. Karisa Carroll is a licensed pediatric dentist. She received her bachelors in Chemistry from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where she played soccer and lacrosse. After college, she went on to complete her dental school training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Spending her summers as a camp counselor and sports coach, she found a strong passion for working with children early on in her life. This passion translated to her two year pediatric dentistry residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, in Philadelphia. Dr. Carroll is a member of the American Academy of the Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. She specializes in treating children of all ages as well as those with special healthcare needs. She believes the most important outcome from your child’s dental visit is for a child to have an encouraging and enjoyable experience. Dr. Carroll accomplishes this with deep compassion and understanding of the fears and anxiety your child may have. She hopes to create a dental “home” early on in your child’s life, and most of all, wants to make your child’s dental experience positive and fun!
