Located in Woodland Hills, Southern Cal Smiles has been serving cosmetic dentistry patients in the west San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles areas for 25 years.Susan C. Fredericks, DDS, is a native of Southern California and received her bachelors degree in biological science from UCLA in 1977. Immediately after graduation, she entered the UCLA School of Dentistry and completed her degree in 1981. She was the youngest member of her class. Since 1981, Dr. Fredericks has been practicing cosmetic and restorative dentistry in west San Fernando Valley. She lives in Calabasas with her husband. She has two children, Danielle, who graduated from UCLA Dental School in 2016 and is currently doing a post graduate residency in Oral Surgery there. Her son Brett will start medical school in Chicago in August 2017. Dr. Fredericks is a volunteer instructor at UCLA, donates many hours monthly to the MEND free clinic in Pacoima and is an accomplished triathlete. Dr. Fredericks is devoted to continuing education for herself and her team. They keep up with the latest advances in service and technology by regularly attending local and national conferences and workshops. Dr. Fredericks is a multi-course graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.While Southern Cal Smiles does concentrate on esthetic services, Dr. Fredericks office also provides comprehensive dental care to ensure optimal health and function in every smile. Dr. Fredericks services include cleanings, implants, fillings, crowns and bridges, bonding, extractions and dentures.
