Clinic Introduction

UAA Dental Clinic is the jewel in the crown of the Dental Hygiene Program at the College of Allied Health at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA)! This dynamic teaching clinic is dedicated to protecting the oral health of the community and providing a platform for students to realize their dreams. Here, students are provided with a wide range of dental services under the careful guidance of experienced dental professionals. Whether it is oral health examinations, teeth whitening, fluoride treatments and oral cancer screenings, they can complete them with ease. Of course, they will also teach you how to maintain oral hygiene to make your smile brighter! In addition to these preventive services, the clinic occasionally provides restorative dental care, such as fillings. However, since this is mainly a dental hygiene clinic, we will leave those particularly complex treatment tasks to the professional dental clinic! UAA Dental Clinic also has a very important mission, which is to provide affordable dental services to the community, especially to help those who may have difficulty finding suitable services. At the same time, it is also a great place for students to practice their skills and level, laying a solid foundation for their future as professional dentists. Here, dreams and practice are intertwined, and youth and passion collide. Let us work together to cheer for the cause of oral health!
