The Free Medical and Dental Clinic (FMC) of Iowa City is a kind-hearted organization that does not make money and has been helping people since 1971. We feel that medical treatment is something that everyone cannot do without. So we work hard to provide medical and dental services to people in Iowa City and surrounding areas so that people who can't afford medical care can get help. We do not charge for medical treatment here, just to make it easy for everyone to see a doctor without any obstacles. Moreover, we treat everyone the same, impartially, and protect everyone’s privacy. We also encourage everyone to participate in their own treatment and understand their physical condition. More importantly, we will also speak for those who have difficulty seeing a doctor, so that everyone can receive fair medical services.
