Dr. Federico Perez was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic and in 1989 graduated from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic with a degree of Doctorate in Dentistry. In 1990 Dr. Perez moved to New York to practice dentistry, however, he was told he needed 3 more years of medical school. Dr. Perez attended New York University College of Dentistry. He then graduated in 1996. While attending the New York University of Dentistry, Dr. Perez worked as an assistant for a local dentist. After graduating, Dr. Perez opened his own practice in Manhattan and a second location in Queens, New York. In 2009 Dr. Perez and his wife were looking for a friendly place to raise their family and their practice. They considered Dubai as a place they could raise their family and practice, until the day Dr. Perez ran into an old friend from grade school at Madison Square Garden. Dr. Maximiliano Hernandez told Dr. Perez that he was living in the valley and that Perez family should visit there. They did and now Dr. Perez has his practice, Okan Dental, PLLC in Mission, Texas.
