The Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to the improvement of oral health, the development of the dental profession, and exchanges and cooperation among dental colleagues. The society covers the western Pennsylvania region, including Pittsburgh and its surrounding counties and cities. As a branch of the American Dental Association (ADA), it represents the common interests of many registered dentists and dental health professionals in the region. The purpose of the society is to promote oral health education and enhance public awareness of the importance of oral hygiene.
