Dr. Jose Rivera- Gautier was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has been practicing dentistry for over two decades. He has solid knowledge of comprehensive dental procedures and prides himself on his superior problem-solving skills in addition to his excellent ability to care for his patients while creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Puerto Rico School of Dentistry in 1996 and established his own private practice in Puerto Rico for 13 years before moving to Texas in 2012. As a general practitioner Dr. Rivera has advanced his skills into multiple disciplines including minor periodontics, endodontics, surgical removal of teeth, orthodontics and treatment of children. His professional memberships include Colegio de Cirujanos Dentistas Puerto Rico, International Association of Orthodontics and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Rivera is very easy going with a great sense of humor and in his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, barbequing for his family, and watching the Houston Astros.
