Clinic Introduction

At Pediatric Dental Associates, Morristown, our mission is to provide the best dental care available to infants, children and teens, including those with special healthcare needs. We all care deeply about our young patients, treating each with patience, kindness and respect. We strive together as a team to avoid complacency, choosing instead to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry through continuing education and use of the latest sterilization procedures and best techniques of preventative and restorative care. Dr. Moody and his dental staff are trained and qualified to treat special-needs patients who may feel uncomfortable with a visit to the dentist. We're here to make the entire family feel comfortable, but especially the patient! Dr. Ed Moody has been certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, is a member of the American Dental Association and Tennessee Dental Association, and has served both as President of the Lakeway Dental Society in 1989 and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry in 2003. He is active in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the preeminent organization of children’s oral health professionals, and has served on numerous councils and committees, including the Board of Trustees, and is currently serving as Vice President. We serve Hamblen and surrounding counties, such as Jefferson, Grainger, Blount, Greene, Cocke, Hawkins, Hancock, Claiborne, Knox, and Sevier, but have patients that come to see us from as far as Virginia! Dr. Moody is married and has three daughters.
