Dr. Garrido is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She attended Dartmouth College where she earned her BA. Dr. Jill traveled to the other coast to San Francisco, CA for dental school at the University of the Pacific. While in school , Dr. Jill found the most meaningful piece of her experience to be the education of children and parents regarding oral health prevention within the under-served communities Northern California. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Jill and her husband settled in Philadelphia where she completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Completing her pediatric education in a busy Children's Hospital acquainted her with many children with special needs and enabled her to spend time in all areas of the hospital beyond the dental department to meet the needs of dental patients with a holistic approach.Dr. Jill started practicing in Delaware in 2015. Working in Southern and Northern Delaware has helped familiarize her with the growing communities as well as providers within the state. She now practices with Dr. Derenzo in Wilmington. She is grateful for the privilege to serve these families and see her patients grow and thrive.In addition to volunteering with children, Dr. Jill is happy to devote most of her free time caring for the 2 children of her own. When she is out of the office she enjoys racquet sports, skiing, and hiking.
