Keesler Dental is one of the Air Force's largest and most well-equipped dental clinics providing comprehensive dental care to all active duty military personnel assigned to Keesler. It is the primary referral and consultation center for active duty personnel assigned to other military organizations in the surrounding area and has representation from all dental specialties.All inactive duty dental care is extremely limited. Eligible beneficiaries are strongly encouraged to enroll in the Active Duty Family Member Dental Program or the Retiree Dental Program. Occasionally, residency programs present unique requirements that cannot be met through routine care of active duty personnel. These requirements can be met through eligible beneficiaries. These cases are limited and are publicized through various media as needed.Active duty Air Force members assigned to Keesler are required to have regular dental checkups, which are scheduled through organized rooms. Follow-up appointments are made at the time of the regular dental checkup appointment or by calling the dental office.
