He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland Dental School and served as a dental resident at the Prince Georges General Hospital and Medical Center. He is a member of the Southern Maryland Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr Bers was awarded a Mastership by the Academy of General Dentistry and was elected to the Pierre Fuchard Academy.
