Dr. Rosa ia s graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Dental School in 1995, and also completed a two year postgraduate training program at Staten Island University Hospital Dental Department (SIUH). In 1996, Dr. Rosa was appointed chief resident at SIUH and then later that year appointed to active teaching staff. Being active at SIUH, Dr. Rosa helps educate recent dental graduates during their transition from dental school to private practice. Also, he is involved in the hospitals" dental outreach programs, senior wellness programs and is an educator in the hospitals' dental assistant program. Dr. Rosa, in 1997, purchased a small part-time practice on the Newport waterfront in Jersey City, which he now is sole proprietor. In 2004, Dr. Rosa moved his office to a larger more modern facility. Since his graduation, Dr. Rosa has been an active member in the American Dental Association and on his way to being appointed Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Since continuing education is important to Dr. Rosa, he frequently participates in courses designed to update and improve his dental skills which is needed for him to provide quality upto date dentistry for his patients.
