Clinic Introduction

With more than 30 years total experience Dr. Robert J. Hammond has been serving the dental care needs of patients in the Sarasota-Venice area for the past 15 years. He excels in all aspects of General Dentistry including Implant Restoration, Fillings, Crowns and Bridges, Veneers, Dental Bonding, Partial and Complete Dentures, and Teeth Whitening. Dr. Hammond is a strong advocate for preventive dental care and on your initial visit he will discuss your medical history and conduct a comprehensive assessment of your teeth, gums, oral tissue and TMJ function. He also takes a conservative approach with a philosophy of preserving as much of the patient's natural tooth structure as possible and with minimally invasive treatment. As part of his effort to help bring new dentists into the field Dr. Hammond is also on faculty at the State College of Florida in the Dental Hygiene program. A dental visit can often be a stressful time, particularly for a new patient, but with his gentle and patient bedside manner Dr. Hammond will quickly put you at ease. To schedule your initial evaluation give us a call today or stop by our office. We're conveniently located less than half a mile south of the Walmart Supercenter in the beautiful Mediterranean Professional Park. And while you're here don't forget to say hi to Daisy, The Amazing Dental Dog!
