James N. Burton, D.D.S. Dr. Burton is a native of Middle Tennessee. Having grown up in Brentwood, he longed to return to this area to practice. He received his education from Lipscomb University and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. He has thoroughly enjoyed being able to return to Brentwood to practice as a general dentist. Dr Burton is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Tennessee Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a Board Member for the Nashville Dental Society. Dr. Burton and his wife, Lauren, have 3 children and are actively involved in the Brentwood community and their church. Dr. Burton serves on several different boards for local non-profit organizations. When asked what he likes most about dentistry, the answer is "the ability to help and serve others." That not only includes helping people through his office, but also through work on international mission trips, and through volunteering at the Interfaith Dental Clinic providing services for the uninsured, low-income working people of the Nashville area. Elizabeth Waggener, D.D.S. Dr. Elizabeth Waggener graduated from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1995. She operated as a sole practitioner in Somerville, Tennessee from 1995 until 2008. In 2008, Dr. Waggener sold her private practice and relocated to Brentwood, Tennessee with her husband and three daughters. She joined the practice of Maryland Farms Family Dentistry in August 2008. Dr. Waggener has received additional training in the Invisalign Orthodontic Procedure. She feels very blessed to be a part of the Maryland Farms Family Dentistry "family."
